Skin Secrets

Its been a while since I last posted but I thought today I would do a post about keeping skin healthy and clear. They might be really obvious but they are the things that really help.

Drink plenty of water. Ideally we should be drinking about 2 liters of water a day however I know many people don't like water and i'm not a massive fan myself so I just try to drink as much fluid as possible I mainly drink tea and squash. Water really helps to wash out the toxins in our body which then results in clearer, cleaner skin.

Establish a skincare routine. Find products to use to cleanse, tone, moisturise that are compatible with your skin type and skin problems you have. Try not to change products constantly as this can dry skin out or knock the oil levels off balance but I do find that changing products every couple of months can help as by this time the skin is getting used to the old products so they are becoming less effective. Also if you have problems such as acne you could think about going to see a dermatologist if it is effecting your confidence.

Eat healthy. Fatty foods eaten in huge amounts can cause spots and clogged pores. I'm no scientist so i'm not sure exactly why this is but you can see the difference of your skin if you eat healthy for a few days then eat fast food or something like that.

I know this is quite a short post but I am finding it so hard to find time to blog at the moment, however half term is coming up so I should have a few new posts coming up soon.
