CB12 Mouthwash Review

CB12 is a new mouthwash which has really taken off over the last couple of months. When I was contacted about trying some mouthwash, I had never heard of the brand. However now if you are watching TV it is very likely you will see a CB12 advert and I am always seeing bottles of the stuff in Boots too :)

CB12 comes in two different flavors, (would you call it a flavor?) mint/menthol and mild/menthol. I personally thought I would like the mild one the best as I hate strong mouthwash but the mild one had very little taste to it at all, and the taste it did have wasn't minty. Don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining. This mouthwash is seriously the best I have ever used.

It claims to neutralise breath for 12 hours and although I'm not sure if it is that long, it definitely makes my mouth feel much cleaner. This is the only thing CB12 claims to do and it does what it says. It isn't one of these 'miracle' products that claims to do a million things but the simple things are often the best!

At £14.59 it is on the pricey side but if you enjoy looking after your mouth or have an issue with bad breath I would definitely look into this. I find a bottle lasts about 20-25 days which doesn't make the price per use too expensive!

Have you tried CB12? What do you think of it?

Non Beauty Wishlist

As most of you will know I am going to the Nottingham blogger meet up on Saturday so am obviously saving my money for then. I will be doing a separate wishlist of things I am hoping to buy at the meet up. That will be up tomorrow so keep an eye out for that.

1. Paloma Faith tickets - I love Paloma Faith's songs and unique voice so would love to buy some tickets to go and see her live.

2. The Fault In Our Stars By John Green - This is the most talked about book of the moment and I have been recommended it so many times. I am desperate to read it!

3. The Kingmakers Daughter by Philippa Gregory - When I read the blurb of this book it, it sounded like a book I would love to read. I have a few books lined up to read for now but will definitely be buying this when I need a new book :)

4. Asos Dog Print Snood - Come on how cute is this snood? And for £7.50 it's a bit of a bargain. I love blue, dogs and snoods! How much more perfect could this be?

5. Muji wide 2 drawers - I think most bloggers own a bit of Muji storage and although I think it's quite expensive I want some acrylic drawers. Since putting this together I have found out that Wilkinsons do acrylic storage for half the price so I will be checking that out.

6. Ikea perfume bottles - I love these perfume bottles. They would look great on any dressing table or even in the bathroom. I obviously wouldn't use them for perfume but for decoration.

7. Adidas Navy Trainers - I included these in my competition entry for the passion for fashion 2 competition and love them so much that I now want a pair.

What is on your wishlist this month?

New Revlon Lip Butturs

left to right: pink lemonade and sorbet

Revlon lip butters have been a favourite of mine since they were launched last year. I love how they are a mix of lipstick, lipstain and some shades, lip gloss. This year Revlon have bought out 7 new shades! 3 of the new shades were released in February and then the 4 shades that make up the spring/summer collection were released in March. I have 2 of the shades from the Spring/Summer collection and am really happy with them.

Pink Lemonade - this is my least favourite of the 2 as because I have naturally quite pigmented lips this barely shows up on me. However it could be worn over another lipstick or on its own still because it is a really glossy shade.

Sorbet - this is an amazing colour. It may not look like much in the swatch below but on the lips it is soooo bright. This is definitely a summer colour and would look even better with a tan!

Top to bottom: Pink Lemonade, Sorbet

The other 2 colours in the spring/summer collection are gorgeous there is a coral colour and a peach colour!

Revlon lip butters retail for £7.99 each and can be found in Boots and Superdrug.

Which revlon lip butters have you tried?

Passion For Fashion 2 Competition Entry

Money Supermarket always run the most amazing competitions for bloggers and this one is no different. All you have to do to enter is create 3 looks, casual, party and holiday, all under £200. The winner for each category will win £200 and the overall winner wins an amazing £1000!

Casual

This is a really nice casual outfit and something that I would actually wear. I love wearing a bright lip when the rest of my outfit is casual as I feel it really brings an outfit together. Also how cute are the Adidas trainers?

Holiday

I love this outfit. It is something I wouldn't just wear on holiday but in this country on a warm day. I think that denim jackets always look good with girly dresses and a brown bag so I really love the scalloped edged satchel from Asos. For the summer I also love dainty necklaces!

Party

For my party look I wasn't quite sure what look I wanted to go for. In the end I decided on something edgy but fun. I think the leather jacket, boots and clutch are the edgy and the bright dress and lipstick and cute mustache watch are the fun!

Born Lippy Lipbalms

The Body Shop born lippy lipbalms aren't spoken about much on blogs so after only reading a couple of reviews last year I bought a pack of these on a whim. I was at an outlet shop and a gift set of 4 lipbalms was selling for £4.80 except when I got to the till they were only £2.80!

I already owned one of the lipbalms, the raspberry one, but never really tried it until now. The 5 scents I have are raspberry, pashionberry, strawberry, watermelon and guava.

The lipbalms are a really nice consistency and they smell lovely when they are on the lips. You do need a fair amount for the product to cover the lips as it is very thin and doesn't spread very well. They are not the kind of lipbalm you would put on extremely dry lips as this is the kind of thing you would use to keep lips hydrated but doesn't hydrate them itself.

I would highly recommend these as they smell so good! My favorites are strawberry, raspberry and passionberry. The other 2 do not smell very pleasant but do the same job as the others.
These retail for £2 each which I think is a really good price and if I ever run out of these (which I doubt I will) I would repurchase.

What lip balms are your favorites?

Share The Love #1

I read a lot of blog and have decided to share some of my favourite posts of March with you. I will leave a link to the bloggers Twitter and every post and write a little bit about it. Please let me know in the comments if you have been enjoying a particular blog this month.

Sophia from Tattooed Tealady wrote 2 posts I really loved this week. The first being I'm Sorry Emma Hardie which explains why Sophia didn't like the cleansing balm. As much as I love reading good reviews, blunt honest reviews are really helpful too. The second post was the 12 Lessons Learned #3 which is all about doing what you want in life.

Hannah from Palindrome Poppet wrote an amazing recipe for making Minty Chocolate Ice Cream. I am desperate to try make the ice cream, especially as it is really healthy!

Tamsin from Little Glitter wrote a lovely post about the One Line A Day Memory Books. Her post includes some gorgeous pictures!

Lizzie from Blue October wrote a post, My Achilles Heel, about some gorgeous trainers from Adidas, that I am now seriously wanting!

Kate from Ghost Parties wrote an amazing post Living With A Fringe which I loved as I have a fringe myself. She also wrote an amazing Blogging Tips And Advice post which is amazing. If you are just starting out blogging or if you have been blogging for a long time you should definitely check it out.

Rebecca from From Roses did a Home Decor 101 Pt 2 post which has the most beautiful photos ever. If you love pretty photos you should definitely check out her blog!

Lucy from Miss Lucy Loves wrote, Interiors: Little Touches, which is an amazing post. I love interior posts and love the cushion Lucy got from The White Company.

Please let me know if you like this post and if you would like to see one every month.
